PRINT CLUB: Photobook Workshop inspired by Ed Ruscha

Name of Artist : Ed Ruscha
Nationality : USA, West Coast
Era : 1960s - Present Day
Art Movement : Conceptual Art

Ed Ruscha came out of the 1960s Los Angeles art scene, where the car culture, signage, and urban sprawl of Southern California deeply informed his work. Best known for his deadpan photography, word-based paintings, and self-published artist zines like Twentysix Gasoline Stations, Ruscha fused visual minimalism with a dry, ironic sense of humor. He helped shape the conceptual art and artist book movements, leaving a lasting mark on contemporary photography, typography in art, and visual storytelling.
